Designed with a modern day fairy tale princess in mind, this collection has the beautiful details, delicate silhouette, and luxurious fabrics, which will take you from dusk til dawn... Cinderella shall go to the ball. Based around the idea that Cinderella is now a fashion savvy thirty- something, I have designed the pieces so that after a hard days work in her dream job, Cinderella can be ready in no time, to go to whichever ball she chooses! The collection- which consists of voluminous dresses, made with layers of chiffon, georgette and lace and Delicate lace blouses, in sheer fabrics which could have been spun from fairy dust. These teamed with the glittering metallic trousers, make an effortless outfit, which is perfectly on trend for spring summer 2008. Subtle colours are used to create a dreamy, romantic pallette, based mainly around rose tinted hues, soft peaches in soft, luxurious fabrics, combined with sparkly silver metallics.. which created an exciting contrasts. The beauty of the collection lies in the choice of beautiful fabrics, the detailing of pearl buttons, and the cut of the garments in which the fabric is pleated and draped to show both volume and suppression, which works ideally with the female figure.
