More ImagesHannah Stevensoncapsule collection spring/summer 2008 To create the loose flowing feeling of the hippy era I have produced a well rounded collection inspired by the late 60's, early 70's and added feminine details to create a collection which signature style screams femininity and elagance. The range of my collection includes pieces suitable for every occasion with a mixture of tailored high waisted shorts, wide leg trousers with a lower waist band and fabulous flowing dresses and tops. I have created volume using gathers and used big voluptuous bows to give personality to the garments. My ideas are very feminine and will feel light, elegant and gorgeous when worn in spring/summer 2008. To create this I will be using light flowing fabrics, a mixture of silk satin, silk chiffon, georgette and will include added details of lace, lazercut leather and peacock feather printed material. The colours I have used are dusky pink with splashes of purply grey and oyster. My collection will provide a elegant yet relaxed feel and will be glamorous clothing that can be worn to help that fabulous feeling everyday and night.
